Survival of Ugandas small and medium businesses in a cox model

The government of Uganda came up with the micro, small and medium enterprise policy in 2015 an effort to support SMEs for sustainable wealth creation social economic transformation. However, sector has grappled wide ranging challenges these therefore threaten survival SMEs. This study thus investigated factors responsible Uganda’s businesses was based on records from survey done by Bureau Statistics. Business measured year when business started operations year, 2010. A time-to-event approach a Cox Proportional Hazard Model adopted analysis. There is minimum 1 maximum 23 enterprises that can survive which were considered exit operation 4.85 years.
